Robin A. Burrows
Robin A. Burrows is a writer and poet from Arkansas. She recently published a poetry book entitled, “Of Hearts and Souls”. She also writes fantasy, science fiction, and children’s books.
Robin knew she wanted to be a writer when she was in the third grade. For the first time in her school career, her class had to write a story using their spelling words. She realized she could create stories like the ones she loved to read. Sharing the wonder through writing has been her dream ever since.
In high school Robin wrote novella-length short stories about a sailor, his family and their fantastic adventures. She also discovered poetry in high school and realized that a poem could tell a story too.
Robin set aside her creative writing during college to write literary essays for her classes. She graduated with a major in English and a minor in History. During this time, she also formulated ideas for several new story-worlds including: Landrina, Nokar, and Vampiress Lessa.
Robin works in marketing for a national nonprofit organization and writes in her free time on evenings and weekends. She has won over 20 awards at area writers’ conferences for her poetry and prose. Her current writing projects include a fantasy novel tenatively entitled, Kaylee Nevins and the Dragon Ring and several picture book manuscripts.
